Best Alternatives to Layla AI (2026)
Layla AI is a conversational trip planner that many travellers use to explore ideas and sketch an itinerary. Depending on what you need, a different tool may suit you better: something that helps you prepare once you’ve booked, something for organising a group trip, or something for comparing flights and hotels.
Here is how the main alternatives differ, so you can pick the right one for where you are in your trip.
1. FigFinder AI: best if you want one guide that adapts to your trip stage
FigFinder AI is a personalised, all-in-one trip guide. You tell Fig where you’re going and whether you’re still planning, already booked or already at your destination, and it builds the guide around that stage rather than giving everyone the same itinerary.
Still planning, you get a day-by-day plan matched to your budget, travel style and who’s coming, with booking links to Trip.com and GetYourGuide. Already booked, it skips the flights and hotels you’ve sorted and focuses on getting ready: the airport transfer, staying connected, entry checks for your passport and what’s worth booking ahead. Already there, it works from the days you have left.
If your guide has saved trip dates, its trip summary counts down to departure, brings arrival and connectivity forward in the final week, and opens on today’s plan once you’re travelling. The preview is free; the complete guide is a one-off 2.99 in your own currency.
- Adapts to your stage: still planning, already booked or already there
- Day-by-day plan personalised to your budget, travel style, group and any dietary or access needs
- Arrival playbook: airport transfer, SIM and eSIM options, ATMs and the local apps worth having
- Destination essentials, with entry guidance for your passport when you share it
- Downloadable destination map, packing checklist and useful travel services in one place
- Free preview, no sign-up needed to start
2. Mindtrip
Mindtrip is an AI travel planning app that combines conversation with maps and saved places. It suits travellers who like to explore options visually and build up ideas for a trip.
3. Wanderlog
Wanderlog is a trip planner and itinerary organiser. It is well suited to group trips where several people add to a shared plan, with maps and collaborative editing. You build the plan yourself, with its tools to help.
4. Google Travel
Google’s travel tools bring flight and hotel search together with destination research. They work well for comparing prices and options side by side.
How FigFinder AI differs from Layla AI
Both start from a conversation. FigFinder’s focus is the practical side of a trip, and it changes what it gives you depending on your stage. If you’ve already booked, it doesn’t try to sell you flights and hotels again; it helps you get ready, then opens on today’s plan once you’re there.
